For previously used walk start locations, the grid ref, post code and what3words should already be in the C&B Directory of Walk Start Locations and these can be copied and pasted directly into the diary. For new start locations, please refer to Streetmap or our video How to use Streetmap to help you get an accurate grid ref, postcode and what3words to enter into the diary. For any C&B Members wanting to be a new Leader, please see the instructions in red on the monthly pages and contact the Walks Coordinator with your request. If the start location for your walk is new, please consider adding it to our C&B Directory of Walk Start Locations and C&B Walks Library (see below) by sending the details to the Walks Coordinator.

\nThis is a comprehensive list of start locations used by the group, giving their map grid reference, post code and What 3 Words. Please make corrections where information is out of date or add new start locations for others to use. Please copy and paste information into the Walks Diary.
\nMap of all Public Rights of Way in Essex Walk Leaders should refer to this to check the status of paths they are using and to find all currently valid PROW in Essex. Updates are frequent and may not be shown on older printed OS Maps.
\nC&B Walks Library This contains many routes, each highlighted on an OS map, developed by members over the years which can be downloaded or printed. Add more by sending to the Walks Coordinator.

\nC&B Mileage/Expenses Claim Form Oct 2026 - PDF version
\nThis is a revised version for rate per mile and supersedes the 2025 version. Please delete any previously downloaded versions of the Mileage/Expenses Claim Form and replace with this new version. The Excel version will automatically download to your download folder and will calculate total expenses from your entries. The PDF version can be downloaded and printed.
\nThe form should then be emailed to the Group Treasurer detailed on the form.
