THE IMPACT ON PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY IN NORFOLK - 2024\nThe Statutory Consultation is upon us, running until the 18th June 2024. The proposals presented by National Grid continue to offer no alternatives other than 159 km (98 miles) of pylons and 25 km (15 miles) of underground cabling across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. The ongoing campaign by Pylons East Anglia is against this proposal, putting forward the option of an Integrated Offshore Grid, cheaper, faster and better for the environment.\nThe spreadsheet below lists the PRoW (Footpaths, Bridleways and Byways) that would be impacted by this latest proposal, from South to North, including all PRoW that are within 50m and/or cross the proposed infrastructure, those affected by the significant extent of the Draft Order Limits and the Temporary and Permanent Works.
