The\n## only proposal put forward by National Grid involves the building of a new 400,000 volt (400kV) electricity transmission line,\n## work at existing substations and building a new substation to connect new proposed offshore windfarms and\n## interconnectors to the energy transmission network. The second consultation, running until the 21st August 2023, offers no\n## alternative options other than 180 km of pylons across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Pylons East Anglia is campaigning against\n## this proposal and is putting forward the option of an Intergrated Offshore Grid, both cheaper and better for the\n## environment.\n## would have on the Public Rights of Way (PRoW) across Essex.
